  • The United Way Day of Caring is on Friday, September 10th. If you are interested in volunteering your time for 1/2 day you can choose from the following:

    1. Painting Cycle Room at S. Hanover YMCA
    2. Activities for tenants at the York Area Housing Group
    3. Alzheimer's Outdoor Courtyard at Pleasant Acres - light garden maintenance and fall planting.
    4. Removal of Invasive Plant at Richard Nixon County Park
    5. Landscaping clearing at William H. Kain County Park
    6. Winterize Garden of the Senses at ForSight Vision
    7. Let the Sunshine in - cleaning of windows at American Red Cross York-Adams Chapter
    8. Help Paint Common Areas at the YMCA of York
    9. Painting the Hallway at Yorkarts
    10. Bingo Volunteers at Lutheran Social Services - York Area
